The Bamboo Straw Co., started as a vision during a yoga teacher training in Indonesia in 2018. Along with my former business partner, we dreamed up a plan with a mission to replace the 50 million plastic straws used in the US every day. Our goal; bringing fun new alternatives to single-use plastic, we were one of the first to enter the US market. We have embraced lots of twists and turns and our eco-friendly mindset that started as a passion project for combatting plastic straws quickly turned out to be the greatest adventure of my life and lead to a whole line of bamboo and coconut products. Embracing a more eco-friendly lifestyle doesn’t have to be a challenge and I am committed to bringing only the best quality, handcrafted, fair-trade, organic products made by some really amazing artisans, tailors, and people I personally know and love. I’ve expanded and learned what makes really great bamboo products and how important it is to know where/how products claimed as “eco-friendly” are produced. All our products are made to reuse over & over again and come with a 1-year warranty. If it doesn't hold up just return it, no questions asked and we'll replace it within that year! Read their story
