The Crowned Candle Company is brand specializing in hand poured scented candles & candle-like products. All of our candles are poured in small batches & are handcrafted from soy wax. Our premium fragrances are phthalate -free, and create pleasant aromas safe for use in your home and office. Our products are eco-friendly & pet safe. Candles are quality tested for safety and to ensure optimal performance through each burn cycle. In 2018, after experiencing an abrupt breakup of a long term relationship Demetrice found herself in a space of having to reinvent her life from the inside out. The process resulted in her shifting her career focus from social work and stumbling upon entrepreneurship. Candles had always been a favorite, so when the idea presented for a business it was a no brainer. Several months of research and tons of testing later, The Crowned Candle Company was founded in 2019. Since this time the brand has experienced significant growth and expansion not only domestically, but with international distribution in Canada. Demetrice named The Crowned Candle Company after her maternal grandmother who's real name was Queen. Her grandmother had passed away in 2006. Also during the time the brand was founded, she was also discovering her own "crown" through self love and self care. Each candle is created from a place of passion and purpose. Read their story
