About Gilly's Magic Muffins

Gilly's Magic Muffins ensures horses and ponies delight in a treat that strikes the perfect balance between delicious and chewable. My name is Lee Rech and I am the company founder who wears my dad’s bucket hat proudly at the horse shows! Gilly is a nickname given to me by my horse girl friends (aka anyone remember Gilligan's Island?). The inspiration for these unique horse treats originated in my young heart in a suburb of Boston. I daydreamed of showing champion horses, rolling pastures, and hilltop stables. My interest was further sparked by fun stories of Norman Thelwell’s English girls and boys and their ponies - thus the cartoon of my horse Marty jumping a wooden fence. Over the years, my dreams have grown into an enthusiastic passion for all things equestrian. Riding has been my favorite past-time. The hunter / jumper rings most captured my imagination because of the thrill, the focus, and the competition. Horses and ponies, our trusty companions, inspire thoughts of heroism, magic, and legend.
