Giolisca Brogi and her family embrace this heritage: they pass down the flavors and aromas of ancient recipes and leave their authentic touch on the great tradition of Siena's sweets. Giolì is the brand of the Sienese sweets line from Forno Ravacciano, a true institution in Siena for "real" Tuscan bread. The artisan workshop is located in the structure of the ancient Panforte Parenti Factory, which in 1829 hosted the first production of Panforte in Siena. It was the meeting with Dr. Giovanni Righi Parenti that inspired the Brogi Family: Giovanni had the desire to relive the flavors and aromas of the past, those of the ancient recipes of the apothecaries. "All this made us think about how preparations were made in the past, and we are returning to make them as tradition dictates, almost exclusively by hand.
