It all began in 2017 with pure Nilotica shea butter. What makes it special is the use of the rare shea variety "Nilotica," which is wild-harvested in Uganda. The unrefined shea butter, as well as the pure, cold-pressed oils, are produced under the fair working conditions of a small farmers' initiative in Uganda. A portion of the proceeds goes to a local NGO that cares for children and young people from very poor backgrounds and gives them a chance for education. In the meantime, the range has expanded to include deodorant sticks without aluminum and alcohol, a gentle facial cleanser made from pure saponified Nilotica shea butter, and a rich lip care product.
