In 2018, the Founder and Creative Director of Licensed to Charm, Maggie Calmels, had the idea to develop licensed jewellery collections to celebrate the characters and stories from popular culture, which have a special place in people’s hearts. Licensed to Charm is the result; jewellery full of character, unique and authentic. We are a family-owned business, and our unique jewellery is all designed and handcrafted within the UK, using sustainable and recycled materials. Collections include the Moomins, Miffy, Frida Kahlo, Labyrinth, Wallace & Gromit, A Very Hungry Caterpillar, Phantom of The Opera and Starlight Express. Our talented artists bring our concept designs to life using a combination of modern CAD software and wax carving techniques. Skilled artisans in Birmingham and London, then meticulously master, mould, and cast the components. The pieces are finished and assembled by hand.
