Melissa Funderburk founded Waves Daydreams & Lather after developing severe skin sensitivities that made everyday products difficult to use. When she couldn’t find products that worked for her skin, she began creating her own. What started as necessity became a passion for crafting thoughtful, plant-based personal care products designed with simplicity, quality ingredients, and sensitive users in mind. Today, Waves Daydreams & Lather offers handcrafted soaps and personal care products made in small batches in North Carolina. Alongside signature scents and artisan designs, the collection includes fragrance-free options and select coconut-free offerings to better serve customers with sensitivities and preferences that can be difficult to shop for.
