Based in Euless, Texas, we began as an African restaurant serving authentic meals inspired by home and tradition. Over time, we realized our community wanted more ways to enjoy these flavors beyond the restaurant, especially foods that felt familiar, comforting, and easy to prepare. That’s how our first packaged product was born: Mikate (Puff-Puff) Mix. Mikate is a beloved Central African snack, especially popular in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Soft, fluffy, and golden, it’s often enjoyed warm as a breakfast treat or snack and sold by street vendors as a favorite comfort food. With our mix, we’ve made it simple for anyone to recreate that taste at home—just add water and vanilla extract, then fry to perfection.
