About Lagom Candle Design

Hello! I am the owner/operator of Lagom Candle Design in Airdrie, AB! I hand pour vegan friendly, pure coconut wax candles. I am different from other local candle companies because I use only PURE coconut wax. Coconut wax is a cleaner, longer burning wax that is better for us and the planet. I‘m a stay at home mom of 2 littles, I enjoy being creative and dabbled in making candles one day and it inspired me to find a cleaner wax that was safer for me and my family. Diffusing Essential oils is my go-to but I missed lighting a candle. My scents are earthy, elegant and neutral; Whiskey + Oak , Vanilla Sandalwood, Birchwood Pine, Lemon Jasmine, Winter, Spiced Bergamot, Cheers, Beach and Cranberry Woods My pure Essential Oil line is Lavender Mint and Lemongass. I use reusable lead free glass jars that come in 12oz jars, black gloss or white gloss with natural wooden lids. I also offer Rosegold tins that come in 4oz and 8oz. Essential oils and phthalate-free, paraben-free, non-toxic fragrance oils are used for scent. Using premium fragrance is VERY important to me because I have learned the harmful effects of certain ingredients (like parabens and phthalates) that cause cancer. ‘Lagom’ (law-gum) is a Swedish word meaning ‘Not too little, Not too much. Just right’ I felt this was the perfect way to describe my candles because of the subtle scent throw coconut wax offers. They are the perfect candle for turning any space ‘Lagom’. Read their story
