GLOBAL IMAGES... UNIVERSAL MESSAGES..." Ann Peterson launched Mundo Images in 2007 at the National Stationery show with 8 lines of eco friendly greeting cards, featuring her own photography. Mundo Images has received national recognition from the Greeting Card Association (GCA) as a category finalist for Greeting Card of the Year more than once! Ann has been an exhibitor at The Celtic Marketplace and The Ireland Show since 2008, and is a proud member of The North American Celtic Trade Association (NACTA) and the GCA (Greeting Card Association. As a young girl, Ann lived in Spain and Ireland. Her childhood led her to develop a passion for travel, photography and language. She has lived in Costa Rica, Spain and England. Her camera was always with her. Her mother always encouraged Ann to follow her love of photography. In 2005, they took a trip to Ireland, and the images from that trip set in motion the pursuit of a lifelong dream. Ann’s mother passed away from cancer a year later. Ann felt the only way to honor her mother’s legacy was by starting her own business with her photographs. Her Irish Wisdom line of cards is now very popular! All cards are on FSC Certified, wood-free paper, and are printed locally. All Mundo Images products reflect a commitment to renewable resources, and Mundo Images is a supporter of environmental initiatives. Ann loves what she does and is continually looking to find creative ways to express her ideas with new cards & photo gifts. Read their story
