About Sarah Kwan Artist

Sarah Kwan Artist is an award-winning freelance Artist and Illustrator based in Edinburgh with a range of Prints, Cards and other giftware. She also offers commissioned pieces for organisations and private clients. She has her ongoing ‘East Meets West Series’, amongst other projects, which explores the positive connections between Western and Chinese culture in a fun and playful way - with humour, decorative patterns and pops of bright colour. Her 'East meets West' series began when her friends were getting married and asked her to create some artwork for their wedding invites, representing both Chinese and Scottish culture - and she kept on going with the theme. It has been an absolute pleasure to see how many people, from many different cultures connect with the work - and the humour found within it!Read their story
