At The High-End Hippie, we create zero waste, Canadian made shampoo and conditioner bars that deliver more than just clean hair; they are true hair therapy. Each bar is carefully formulated to address real concerns like scalp health, fine or thinning hair, volume, color care, and overall shine, while being safe, effective, and luxurious to use. Our compact, shelf friendly design helps reduce plastic waste, making it easy for eco-conscious consumers to choose high performance hair care that is kind to both their hair and the planet. From Our Founder I grew up on a 40 acre hobby farm in rural Nova Scotia where I learned the importance of resourcefulness and water conservation from my grandfather. Those early lessons instilled a deep respect for nature and shaped the values that guide me today. After becoming a mother, I became even more passionate about sustainability and reducing exposure to harmful chemicals. With a background in luxury spas, I understood the importance of standout ingredients and high end product performance, but I struggled with the waste and the ingredient lists in conventional salon products. Out of my Okanagan kitchen, with nothing more than a $20,000 line of credit and a big vision, I began creating shampoo and conditioner bars that deliver the same professional results in a clean, sustainable, low waste form.
