About Brasada
Born and raised in Castroville, Texas, we grew up with a passion for the untamed South Texas brush country. From hunting white-tailed deer in the dense country of Webb County to fishing for trout in the Gulf of Mexico, the thickets and the thorns is where we love to be. Rooted in Rugged, our mission is to create quality apparel that reflects the spirit of South Texas and the hardworking lifestyle of those who wear it. Brasada is another word for brush country. Derived from the Spanish word brazada, this term can be used to describe the parts of Texas that are densely covered by thickets and underbrush. Having grown up in South Texas where a lot of the landscape is covered in thick brush and rugged beauty, the term Brasada perfectly conveys the brand we wanted to bring to life.
