About Port & Starbird

Port and Starbird was created out of a passion for sewing, a love of fabrics and the desire to share these with others. I’ve been creating under this brand since 2013. The name came from my years of growing up at the the Jersey shore and spending weekends on the water with my grandparents. My grandmother taught me how to sew and their home was my second home, so I knew I wanted to honor those memories in my brand. If I’m not sewing and creating and I am spending time with my family, my amazing husband, Dan and our dogs. Read their story
