About Heart Shine Studios

Liz McKinnon is a triad artist in the heart of North Carolina. She is inspired by the whimsy of nature and the stories it provokes. Her gallery space is located in Vida Pour Tea on State Street in Greensboro. Her art captures the duality of nature in its scientifically natural state and its ability to inspire whole new worlds. Her work has experienced a major shift, bold women with stories that demand to be told. Her personal artwork mediums are watercolor and ink, this combination creates a contrast between the soft flow of watercolor and the emphasis of strong clean line work.
