Aka, I make vegan bath & body products that are Tree Nut Free, Coconut Free, Soy Free, and have low latex cross reactivity (i.e. Shea Butter & Avocado Oil Free). Because, having allergies, shouldn't prevent you from finding products that work for you! The majority of bath & body products in the market these days are formulated with tree nuts, coconut, & shea butter, alienating consumers with multiple allergies, ingredient sensitivities, or mobility & dexterity limitations. Likewise, many bath & body products have overwhelmingly strong scents, which can be both an allergy, and a sensory issue for many. I get how overstimulating it can be when every product is scented (or you have a migraine and the scents are just tipping it over the edge), so I ensure almost all of my products are available Fragrance Free as well! I have direct experience with the accessibility gaps in many industries, so I understand the frustrations and struggles of finding products you don't react to, that are fully transparent in their ingredients, and consider different mobility and grip strength capabilities. If my focus on mobility friendly product & packaging design also benefits consumers with grip limitations, low energy, and dexterity issues, then I've done my job! .
