The Poet'e Wife is an artisan owned boho luxe hair accessory brand celebrating the beauty and luminosity of the "bead", creating wildly poetic embellishments of flowers and other artful elements to make the head come alive. I use Czech and Miyuki glass and crystal, pearl & semi-precious gem beads to wire form flowers and other natural shapes on hair clips, combs, pins and bands. Inspired by the glorious explosion of wildflowers here in Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley of Montana where I am privileged to live, I am ceaselessly driven to reflect those sweet blossoms in beads. There’s something about adorning your head; floating a circle of shimmering crystals and flowers, or asserting yourself with a gorgeous trio of braided fabrics — there’s just something exquisitely empowe It’s about defining the tribe that lies within, and celebrating the diverse and distinctive creative culture of our gorgeous world. We love vintage and antique, re-purposed and reclaimed…the found and the custom made. My mom grew up in Denmark, and her father sent her down the road to glean the straw from the edges of the fields so they could make hats with it. I love that principle, and we use it wherever we can. Vintage fabrics & beads…adding in wonderful modern and new elements to dance together with the old. It is my passion to create for the modern tribe, to be a part of the mystery…the beauty and the glory, on your head and in your soul.
