About Danika Ostrowski Art + Design

Dedicated to creating small-batch, quality products, Danika oversees the entire printing process for her archival prints. All products are made in the United States and ship directly from Danika's studio in Austin, Texas. "My love for public land and my love for painting are closely intertwined. I grew up visiting National Parks almost every summer with my family, while pursuing an interest in the arts. Eventually, these two interests merged and I began painting the vibrant colors and wide open spaces of American National Parks in the West. When I visit a new park, I like to take time to soak in what makes it unique. The history, the geology, most importantly the color and form of the landscape. I sketch, paint, and photograph, ultimately referencing these materials as well as my memory and experience to complete my paintings. " Danika paints both en-plein-air and creates in-studio work based on photographs, sketches and memories. She currently lives and works in Austin, Texas creating commissioned paintings and developing her own series of work which she exhibits throughout the country. Danika is a dedicated advocate for the preservation of public lands. She uses her platform as an artist to fundraise for the National Parks Foundation and spread awareness of conservation efforts.
