Ana Maria Hanken Perez is a San Francisco Bay Area native, currently living in Boston Massachusetts who was called to metalsmithing in 2008. She is a metalsmith with a formal studio art education from the University of Oregon who also completed her studies of Jewelry fabrication and repair at North Bennet Street School. As for her jewelry, her work is constantly evolving. She explores texture and shape through the creation of handmade jewelry, each piece slightly different from the rest. Coastal Nine Jewelry are elegantly simple jewelry pieces, crafted to last a lifetime.
