About Camomille Creations

My name is Cristina and I am an embroiderer. An economist by profession, but an artist at heart. Embroidery is my passion and in 2017 I decided to turn what began as a hobby into my full-time job. This project was born in Houston, Texas, and blossomed in New York, where I grew professionally as a textile artist. Today, back in Barcelona —my hometown— I continue embroidering, sharing, and creating art with thread. The DIY embroidery kits were the origin of everything. When I started sharing my work online, I quickly understood that many people wanted to learn to embroider but didn’t know where to start or what materials they needed. That’s why I created my kits: to bring together everything necessary in one place —quality materials, design, and clear explanations— and make it possible for anyone to start embroidering from home. Over the years I have collaborated with international brands such as Miu Miu, Falconeri, GAP, Fjällräven, and Alohas. My work has also been exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Teaching is a fundamental part of my work: some of my tutorials have over 20 million views and thousands of students have attended my workshops and courses. All this experience is the foundation of my kits, designed to make learning to embroider simple, accessible, and enjoyable for anyone.Read their story
