Mackenzie Weise is the owner and artist behind Kenzie Weise Jewels LLC. In addition to running the business and personally handcrafting wearable statements of mindfulness, she is also an epidemiologist and mommy of two. When Mackenzie established Kenzie Weise Jewels in 2017, she had a few specific goals in mind. “Like many others, I often get too busy for my own good. I started Kenzie Weise Jewels due to an overwhelming desire to nurture my inner creative, add a little more positivity in a challenging world, and promote mindfulness amidst all the hustle and bustle.” Mackenzie’s creative approach is inspired by a love for nature, travel, science, and (of course) mindfulness. Her creative approach is informed by multiple areas of the jewelry industry (art, craft, fashion, and fine) but the primary objective of Kenzie Weise Jewels is to support the integration of mindful jewelry as a well-known and major category within the larger industry. “People love to accessorize…I do too! When we adorn ourselves with something we love, we also admire and reflect on it. My aim is to promote conscious accessorizing by sharing unique pieces of jewelry that go beyond complementing the outer appearance and actually represent something deeper, tell a story, and enhance our innermost being.
