At ecojiko, we’re on a mission to inspire people to waste less and reuse more with our fun range of sustainable alternatives to everyday household plastics. A small family business based in Lancaster, our products are useful and beautiful - making it easy for customers to make greener choices. I’m Katy, the founder of ecojiko. My journey began over a decade ago in East Africa, where I worked for many years. There, I was inspired by a culture of reuse and resourcefulness—values that felt worlds apart from the disposable mindset I encountered upon returning to the UK. Frustrated by the overwhelming amount of single-use plastic, I launched ecojiko to offer practical, planet-friendly solutions. Our range is designed to stand out on retail shelves, with plastic-free packaging and a strong eco-conscious ethos. Every product has a sustainable benefit—whether it’s reusable, durable, biodegradable, compostable, or made from natural materials—to encourage more mindful shopping habits. We can also customise our brushes with your store logo for a personalised touch. Stocked in over 260 independent stores and recently launched in Oxfam stores across the UK, ecojiko has also been featured in The Observer, The Guardian, and The Daily Express.
