Hi, I’m Kate, your new watercolor BFF! Here at Splatter & Bloom we make watercolor kits that make creativity feel accessible, doable, and most of all – FUN! Each kit comes with three designs specifically created to help you learn something new about watercolor PLUS you get artist-grade paints and paper, brushes, and a QR code to video paint-along tutorials where I walk you through every step. All you need is a cup of water! Welcome to your new favorite hobby! We offer kits for a variety of skill levels, but all kits are accessible for enthusiastic beginners.  In addition to paint-along videos, each kit comes with helpful links to color charts, reference photos, and FREE beginner watercolor lessons. The paint-alongs not only teach watercolor techniques – I also share about watercolor’s powerful ability to help bring more mindfulness to your day.  Between the beautiful colors and the whimsical ways of water, each painting session will leave the artist feeling refreshed and emboldened! I started watercolor painting when I was a new mom, experiencing more than a little baby blues.  Watercolor helped provide me so much solace in a difficult time and it means the world to me to be able to share the love of watercolor with others.  As a former classroom teacher, being able to teach and connect with creatives is the absolute best.
