About Ana Barroso Porto
Ana Barroso Porto was founded at the end of 2021 out of a desire to combine art and nature, but also to promote sustainability and slow production in home decor. Inspired by the beauty of Portugal's beaches, Ana started creating natural Terrazzo using sand, stones and shells hand picked from her local beaches and from Douro River, located in the region of Porto. Every piece is created by hand - from gathering the material, crushing the shells & sanding, to sealing the final Terrazzo. Through her work she wants to bring the indiscribable beauty of Portugal into your home. Every piece is unique and a statement of the natural beauty of our planet. In 2023 we discovered the amazing volcanic rocks sourced from Açores island and the outstanding benefits of mineral diffusers and organic essences.
