Strip Jerky was founded by Nicole Schlesinger, a culinary school trained chef and lifelong beef jerky lover, after seeing an opportunity to completely rethink the category. Coming from a culinary background, she felt the jerky aisle had become repetitive with overly processed ingredients, overpowering smells, and outdated packaging that only appealed to one type of consumer. Using her culinary training and passion for flavor development, Nicole created Strip to bring a more elevated, modern approach to jerky through chef crafted recipes, clean ingredients, and branding designed to feel fun, approachable, and inclusive. Strip focuses on high protein snacks made without added nitrates or MSG while creating a product people feel comfortable eating anywhere. The brand’s newest flavor, Hot Honey Date, is made with 100% grass fed and grass finished beef. Since launching, Strip has quickly expanded into more than 40 retailers including gourmet markets and Misfits Market.
