If you are here, It's probably because you want to know what I do, why I do it, and maybe also find out who I am, just to make sure you don't get tricked. Well seen. I'll start by making it short: at Frog Posters, I've set myself a mission: to dress up the walls with beautiful, useful, and eco-friendly posters. Concretely, creating these posters requires hours of research, heated discussions, lots of coffee (or beer depending on the time!) and cruel choices. And to limit the carbon footprint of Frog Posters, my main weapon is print-on-demand. This is what allows me to avoid waste, and to print locally, as close as possible to where I deliver. Why am I doing all this? Decoration has become disposable, objects are often made very far from home and we always buy more and then put them in the trash. So rather than just see that this world is falling apart, I prefer to focus on what I can improve. And what I can do is create wall decoration that combines usefulness, aesthetics and respect for the environment at the same time. Who am I? I am Mélanie Bezot-Trottet, the founder and illustrator of Frog Posters. I hate the smell of patchouli, the people who say “I don't want to offend you,” and the flesh-colored leggins. I love storms in summer, reading by the fire, cooking weird recipes, and having a drink on the terrace.
