(Daily Magic customer) My name is Ally and my life’s purpose is to help inspire, encourage and uplift people who are made of stardust. spoiler alert: that’s you. YOU are made of stardust. In short, I make things that help people show up, unapologetically, as their fullest self. Condensed down from start to finish, the process of transforming raw clay (mainly porcelain) into a wearable pair of earrings or necklace takes about 2 weeks. 60% of the tasks are active tasks like smoothing and shaping the clay or glazing and loading the kiln. 40% of the tasks are passive tasks like waiting for pieces to dry (slowly) or the kiln to cool (painfully slowly).
