About Gospel Symbols

In 1970, a passionate teacher at the School of Biblical Studies launched by the WFR Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, had a vision: to make the Good News of Jesus Christ easy to share and accessible to all. He introduced a simple, yet profound way to convey the gospel message using symbols. These symbols became a tool that helped share the story of Christ with anyone, anywhere. The Meaning Behind Each Symbol: He Came Jesus, the Savior of the world, entered humanity to fulfill God’s promise.
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
— Luke 2:11 He Died Out of His great love for us, Jesus paid the ultimate price, dying on the cross to take away our sins.
“And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple cloak and put his own clothes on him. And they led him out to crucify him.”
— Mark 15:20 He Arose Death could not hold Him. Jesus triumphed over the grave, bringing us eternal hope.
“Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here.”
— Mark 16:6 He Ascended After His resurrection, Jesus ascended to Heaven, where He intercedes for us.
“As they were watching, He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him out of their sight.”
— Acts 1:9 He Is Coming Back Jesus will return, just as He promised, bringing ultimate victory and fulfilling God’s eternal plan.
“This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven." - Acts 1:11
