Hello, and thanks for visiting! Fomato is a card line inspired by watercolor, Asian stationery and human beings. The cards are written and painted by Emmie Hsu, who grew up in Kansas and spent summers in Taiwan, where she and her sisters wandered around eating street food, petting stray dogs and scratching their 200+ mosquito bites, and then going into stationery stores and rubbing their grimy hands all over beautiful notebooks, stationery and stickers. The interesting items they drooled over in those shops inspired this line. A note regarding sleeves: Letterpress cards (4-Bar) and watercolor cards (4-Bar and A2) are all sleeved. Large cards (A7) are unsleeved, due to greetings on the insides/backs of the cards. We are happy to sleeve the cards upon request, at no extra cost, but please note that the birthday greetings will be hidden on most cards. Thank you! Read their story
