Kinfolk Studio evolved in a 835 square feet apartment with a love of nature inspired decor and a kitchen and living room that soon turned into a production space. We offer a variety of considered and conscious hand cast, concrete and resin home goods for the laid-back, nature loving soul. Just take a look in our shop, It’s easy to fall in love with our minimalist and carefully curated color palette isn’t it?. Our products are warm, organic, charming and earthy to say the least. Why Kinfolk Studio? Our Story In 2020 my aunt Yvonne Davidson passed away. Shortly following her funeral my brother-in-law and friend Poncho passed away from Covid 19. I will never forget the heartbreak and shock associated with the phone call from my cousin and brother . Just like that my hope of a recovery for both had been snatched away by the words “mom didn’t make it” and “Poncho passed away.” In the weeks following I searched for peace of mind. I had so many questions and still do. As a maker and artist my peace of mind finally came in the idea to create something that would give back and highlight the things they cared about.
