About Rhumerie Fontanel

La Rhumerie Fontanel is an artisanal and family distillery located in the Nantes vineyards. It's a family story, Jean Marc, a commodity trader and global expert in sugarcane molasses, joins forces with his two sons Eloi and Ambroise to create an organic distillery specializing in rum. Eloi and Ambroise manage sales and production. Our 2 Charentais stills allow us to carry out a double distillation to guarantee high quality rums. To do this we use organic molasses. Specializing in rum, we offer 3 types of spirits: white rum, amber rum (sherry barrel), spiced rum (5 spices).Read their story
