About Tippecanoe Herbs

Herbalism in a lifestyle for husband, Kyle Denton and wife, Serena Marinelli, founders and operators of Tippecanoe Herbs. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin our foundation is set by incorporating our work with our community by working with small independent farms, by teaching foraging and medicine making skills that we use, and by opening a large herb shop that serves as a hub for other regional medicine makers. When Serena immigrated to the United States from Italy in 2015, she brought her style of old world knowledge, family healing, artistry from which all of our labels and packaging is produced, and skills in the Ayurvedic bodywork practice of panchakarma. Kyle is an herbalist trained from two traditions- the Ayurvedic tradition from ancient India as well as bio-regional Traditional Western Herbalism. Together they create all of the medicines and recipes in a commercial kitchen certified by the city of Milwaukee. We only use ingredients that we can either: forage ourselves, purchase from a local farm, or find a certified organic source. Our mission is first to serve as healers, educators, and medicine makers, and to make a line of products that are easily accessible for our retailers and their customers. Read their story
