ReLiv Organics features certified organic ingredients harvested primarily from land just north of Toronto, Canada and each product is free from skin irritants and hormone disruptors such as synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oil, sulfates and silicones. Our mission is to deliver skin care with the gentlest and most potent ingredients that nature has to offer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always taken an interest in skin products, and for good reason. As a child and adult, I’ve suffered from many skin concerns from dry skin and eczema to contact dermatitis and acne. Along with seeking the guidance of a naturopathic doctor to address any internal issues and eventually becoming one myself; I realized that in general, my skin, is also quite sensitive to what I put on it. So I dug into the research and I started making my own skin care products such cream, serum, shampoo, body scrub, toner and soap in my late teens and early twenties and it was really shocking to me how well my skin responded to the products I made. I thought to myself, ‘could I be reacting to preservatives and other synthetic ingredients in these regular drug store products?’ And indeed I was … With my career as a naturopathic doctor a priority, developing my own skin care line took a back seat, but I knew it was always a matter of when, not if – and finally the time has come.
