About Biscuiterie Cannelle et Bergamote

Since 2005, it has been with passion and all the love of the region that Biscuiterie Cannelle et Bergamote has been making delicious biscuits in an artisanal way. Located in the heart of France, between the apple trees of Saint Martin d'Auxigny and the Menetou Salon vineyard, La Biscuiterie produces a selection of traditional Berry recipes: from croquet, to shortbread to tiles, macarons, mini-cakes and puff pastries for aperitifs. You will find flavors that are sometimes forgotten. All cookies are made with care and know-how, based on natural products: the flour comes from the plains of Berry, the flavors are exclusively natural. The “birth” of a cookie goes through various stages. The basic ingredients (flour, butter, sugar, eggs) are weighed and kneaded in the laboratory. Depending on the type of product prepared, the dough is either put into “sausages” (for shortbreads) then cut into slices, or “prepared in the old way manually” using pastry bags on specific baking sheets (for tiles, macarons and mini-cakes). Once this step is complete, head to the baking room, where the cookie sheets are baked at 250° for about twelve minutes to get their much-loved walleye. After cooling, the finished products are directed directly to the packaging room, where they are carefully bagged by hand. Cookies for any moment of the day to be enjoyed without moderation.
