About Monarca Eco Friendly Jewelry

Monarca was born over a decade ago, but we worked for about three years to find the best way to preserve our butterfly wings, flowers and feathers. It was a long process of trial and error until we developed the perfect technique. We learned how to preserve our fragile materials, protecting them and enhancing their colors, while also creating a very resistant piece that was lightweight and delicate. We are proud to create unique pieces with unconventional, ethically sourced materials. No butterfly is harmed to make our unique products! The wings are sent to us once the butterflies have expired naturally. Monarca has a partnership with butterfly sanctuaries (In Peru and Colombia) and a US Fish and Wildlife Service Permit to operate in our satellite studio in California. Read their story
