I looked very hard to see if the frames are real wood, not compressed or wood-look, as I have made that mistake before. They are wood product, with a vinyl wood look surface. This is a very nice version of the product, however.

Thank you and we appreciate your feedback. To better explain, a frame which consists of 100% authentic wood would sell at a substantially higher price point than what we charge.
