Pipsqueaks are an eco-friendly baby and children’s apparel brand focuses on creating comfortable clothing in an array of whimsical patterns. Pipsqueaks fabric of choice is bamboo viscose which a versatile fabric with tons of benefits, including excellent breathability, moisture-wicking properties, and durability. My daughter Kayleigh was my inspiration and muse for starting this brand. She was born over two months premature and had to endure an extended stay in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her delicate skin could not handle fabrics treated with harsh chemicals and flame-retardants. I sought out organic materials that would not irritate her skin. Most organic clothing I found lacked stylish and modern options and often only came in dull muted earth tones. Pipsqueaks seeks to provide clothing that is both stylish and eco-friendly to cater to the delicate skin of babies and toddlers.
