About PDX Pottery

Pam and Jacquie are a "mother-daughter" pottery duo based in Oregon, working and living together on their family's century farm. They are inspired by the colors, textures, and wildlife out the back door. Their art reflects life; constantly changing and full of joy. They make pieces to be used, shared, and enjoyed during all the special moments of life. After retiring from a 35 year as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and a full time strawberry farmer's wife who raised four children, Pam returned to her first love; playing in the mud! She loves spending time at the wheel, meeting new friends, and incorporating color into everything. She never sits still and runs circles around her daughter, Jacquie! Jacquie is Pam's second child and has always had a creative artistic side. She is a neuroscience professor by day and artist in her free time. She loves spending time in the studio with her mother, exploring new designs and focusing on hand building....and sharing her love of art with science students in her classes.Read their story
