John Murphree had been a designer craftsman for over 40 years, exploring many mediums including leather work, beading, scrimshaw, silver smithing, and finally, wood working. In 2001, John noticed the the wood jewelry displayed in trade magazines and stores was limited in both creativity and design, and that quality pieces were very expensive. This observation inspired him to combine his jewelry designing skills with his woodworking knowledge to create a concept for wood jewelry that would mark a change in the industry. John, with his daughter Lacey Schlosky, have since expanded into creating a wide variety of laser cut wood jewelry and souvenir gift items. In the summer of 2017, John retired to his beloved Colorado mountains and Lacey stepped into the ownership role. While intending to hold strong to John's original creative vision, Lacey has focused on enhancing existing lines and the creation of new products, all the while continuing a steadfast commitment to affordable wholesale pricing with the highest quality standards. All items are made at our small, family-run shop in Denver, Colorado and all materials are proudly and sustainably sourced and manufactured in the USA.
