And you just don’t need a grizzly bear-proof cooler to get it done. The idea for the Coolio was really born from not wanting to buy and throw away another crappy plastic cooler each time we went on a surf trip. The Coolio launched on Kickstarter in April 2021 and was fully funded within 10 hours. Everyday Makai’s Kickstarter campaign went on to be 300% funded by 150 backers from around the world. Everyday Makai has partnered with the Changing Tides Foundation and 1% for the Planet to empower women to protect the planet and fight the global plastic pandemic.Read their story
