The Strong Learner, founded by Carly Walker, a Certified Kids’ Yoga Teacher, and Amy Soucy, a Literacy and Special Education Teacher, combines movement and learning in creative ways. Their collaboration began at Carly’s Westport, CT studio, inspiring a unique deck of alphabet cards that merge their expertise and passion for child development. Amy Soucy, M.Ed., has over 15 years of teaching experience, specializing in a structured reading approach with a masters in special education. She runs Westport Learning Collaborative, offering tutoring and book recommendations for children aged 5-12. Carly Walker, a mom and yoga enthusiast with 25+ years of practice, founded Child’s Pose Yoga in Westport.
