drenchbar™ was founded on the simple belief that taking care of your skin doesn’t have to come at the expense of the environment or your own enjoyment. We set out to disrupt the cold, sticky process of putting on conventional lotion and give the world a better way to softer, healthier skin. The founder's mother died of cancer when she was just 17. The idea behind drenchbar™ is the culmination of all of the lessons she taught her. Leah's mother put herself in remission from her first bout with cancer through diet, meditation and love alone. After becoming a mom herself, Leah felt a strong message from her mother to try a new path. When she had the idea for drenchbar™– inspired by her own troubled relationship with lotion, her children’s sensitive skin and post-bath meltdowns, and Reddit Skincare commnuties–she knew this was it.
