Alana was a nursing major working at a local pottery shop - she quickly realized that she needed to follow her heart and make a career of her artsiness. She changed her major to business because she fell in love with the nature of how the small business she worked at was being ran. 7 years later now, she has her own shop where she sells an assortment of her pottery and other artsy items and the other half of the shop is a pottery painting studio! People can come and express their own creativity by selecting a piece and glazing it - she fires it in the kiln and they come back a week later to pick up their creations.
