About L'Marie Nail Lacquer

Latasha M Cattouse, a creative artist, was born in Evanston, Illinois to an American father and Belizean mother, strongly rooted in her culture. Raised on the northside of Chicago, Latasha grew up in a home where art was the focal point. At the young age of 7, she would begin nail painting, drawing and immersing herself into arts & crafts projects. Spreading love and making others smile has always been a passion for the founder/creator behind the L’Marie brand. Fond memories of nail painting shared with her mother and sister during childhood, still warms her heart. It’s a forever bond they share after all this time. Now, she gets to share the joy with you. A lifelong consumer of nail care products, coupled with her love of nail painting, Latasha desired to know more about the business. After conducting extensive research and consulting with industry professionals, L’Marie Nail Lacquer was born. L’Marie® Nail Lacquer pronounced [el’Muh-ree] is a new indie nail lacquer on the beauty block. Our lacquers are 10-FREE (non-toxic), rich in color, with a smooth application, long-lasting and chic. We offer a growing array of colors that are sure to inspire all. Our goal is to create colors that are as unique as the individuals who wear them. All products are made and bottled in-house. L’Marie’s founder is a firm believer in collaborating with local businesses. Currently labels for the lacquer are outsourced. Additional collaborations and partnerships are on the horizon.
