In 2014, Luis moved to León — the heart of Mexico’s leather craftsmanship — and began fulfilling friends' orders for cowboy boots. But what began as a side project quickly became a mission: to honor traditional shoemaking while offering something bold, feminine, and truly different. By 2017, Stiefeld became a husband-and-wife team. With Luis’s passion for craftsmanship and his wife’s vision for strategy, design, and storytelling, they built more than a brand — they built a movement. Every pair of Stiefeld Boots is handmade in León by Mexico’s top artisans, using slow, small-batch production methods. Our signature materials — like hair-on-hide, full-grain leather, and authentic serape — are handpicked for quality, comfort, and character.
