Lakes & Lights is the painting studio of Rachel Rixen, inspired by the two cities where she spent her formative years and learned to paint, Minneapolis (the City of Lakes) and Paris (the City of Light). She works mainly with watercolor and ink. All paintings are made either on-site or from her own photography.
