About Curious Press
Curious Press is a letterpress shop making paper goods for the home and kitchen. We love using antique production methods to make goods that are modern, practical, and, above all, beautiful. Letterpress is an antique method of printing where the ink is literally pressed into the paper, leaving behind a lovely impression into the paper for a really tactile experience that can't be achieved any other way. Our press dates back to 1914, and lived in a basement until we found it, cleaned it up, and moved it to my backyard studio. We also aim to have the lightest footprint possible. All of our papers are at least 30% PCW and come from a mill that uses only green hydropower. We are also proudly plastic free in all of our products and packaging. Our press is treadle operated, which is the greenest way that we know of to operate machinery: with my own foot.

The two recipe card packs are amazing - one is organized by seasons of the year and the other is organized by many different types of food categories (soups, sourdough, pastas, etc) and are beautifully letterpressed.
