About HAVU THE WOODEN WATCH

The story of HAVU began on an ice fishing trip in the northeastern part of North Ostrobothnia, Taivalkoski, Finland. Biting cold, soothing silence and an ancient Finnish forest around us, we two brothers from Oulu understood that this Nordic atmosphere should be captured in a watch. We wanted to bring to the market a wristwatch that combines comfort, style and attitude. We decided to combine our two favorite things – watches and nature. We want to remind ourselves of our roots. We want to remember that despite technological advances and smartphones, we are still - at least in some way - a part of nature.
