Hi. My name is Hilary, founder of THE BAR ABOVE®. I grew up on a dairy farm in small town WI, and have a deep appreciation for pure and simple. I believe in the goodness of tallow and in using 100% biobased ingredients to make clean products in simple, traditional ways. In 2018 I made my first bar of soap because I felt the need for a cleaner and more honest everyday essential. Sugar Mama and Balm Sunday® were soon to follow and now TBA, is a vision and product line I am confident in and proud of. I think of the followers of THE BAR ABOVE® as family and friends.
