Felsenkind was born out of the desire to do it better. The moment “I’m doing this now” didn’t come suddenly, but after a long search: for clothing that is produced honestly, uncompromising in quality and made to last. From this dissatisfaction grew the drive to found our own brand — one that takes responsibility and does not take shortcuts. Felsenkind stands for values you feel when you wear the product. We work exclusively with carefully selected materials and manufacturers who pay fairly, operate cleanly and share our values. Every fabric, every seam and every detail is chosen consciously. For us, sustainability means not only acting in an environmentally conscious way, but creating durable textiles that do not need to be replaced after a single season. Our outerwear and knitwear are the result of an exceptionally intensive development process. We searched for a very long time for the right manufacturers — partners who were willing to meet our high standards. Our products go through multiple inspection, testing and control procedures that only a few manufacturers were able to meet. This required countless meetings, tests and examinations.
